Emotional Eating Unwrapped
Feeling stuck in a frustrating cycle with food where nothing seems to stick long-term is the pits!
You eat well overall, but then find yourself emerging from the pantry after devouring 7 snacks in 10-minutes and don’t even remember walking into the pantry to begin with. You beat yourself up for eating when you weren’t even hungry, feel an immense amount of guilt, and then commit to tomorrow being a better day where you’ll be more intentional around your food choices.
You may be able to string a couple of “good” days together before something else takes you “off track,” or you find yourself being pulled to the pantry over and over again without knowing why. So, why does this happen?!?
You’ve tried diets, discipline, and determination, but you keep finding yourself in the same patterns. Maybe you struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, or emotional eating, and your efforts to “fight harder” only leave you feeling more worn out and out of control.
This workshop will help you uncover the secret you didn’t know: your relationship with food is deeply connected to your core beliefs. If you’re not sure what that means yet but are curious, that’s OK. We love and welcome curiosity!
By gaining self-awareness and understanding why you turn to food for comfort, stress relief, or control, you can break free from the endless cycle of constantly thinking about food, binge eating, and guilt.
Through guided exploration, therapist Kristen Jacobsen and health coach, Laura Folkes will help you:
* Recognize the beliefs driving your eating habits that lead you to the pantry and how they contribute to emotional triggers.
* Understand why you turn to food for comfort, stress relief, or a sense of control. (There’s a deeper reason why you polish off a bag of chips when you’re bored, beyond the boredom itself)
* Learn practical tools to break the patterns that leave you feeling stuck and depleted. (No white knuckling required!)
This isn’t about willpower or another diet. It’s about self-awareness, self-trust, and creating lasting change. By understanding what’s beneath your eating patterns, you’ll finally have the freedom to move forward without judgment, anxiety, or exhaustion.
This workshop will help you reconnect with yourself, rebuild self-trust, and create a healthier, more balanced relationship with food and your emotions.
